No inflatable tent was needed for the sitting areas on this day of perfect weather. But the colorful tent helped to shield the serving line, preventing food spoilage and melted frostings.

LPT Homecoming serves as a mini-reunion for some members of the Wood family who always set their table near this tree and sit as a group. See the colorful tent in the backgroud.

On the left is our new pastor Reverend Charles Wimberly. Joining the 2007 choir is Reverend Reba D. Wiley, our district superintendant (second from the right).

Our former pastor, Reverend Jimmy R. O'Bryant, has an empty plate to show how well he enjoyed the meal. "Dinner on the Grounds" is a favorite event during the homecoming festivities. Participants have a chance to relax and chat with family and friends while enjoying delicious dishes and desserts
